Pictures From John 19

Here are the pictures I promised during this morning’s message from John 19.  Each has a caption beside it with the corresponding Bible passage.  Just click on the thumbnails below to see the full-size image.

A Few Pictures From The Holy Land

Here are a few of my favorite pictures taken while in the Holy Land over the past several years.  It is a beautiful place to visit.  In fact, I’m homesick for it now.

Beautiful sunset in the Mediterranean Sea in Tel-Aviv.
Caesarea Marítima – Herod’s City by the Sea.
This is a view of the Temple Mount from the Mount of Olives.
Me preaching on the Mount of Olives.
Beautiful olive trees growing in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Roman stairway going from the area of the upper room down into the Garden of Gethsemane. Jesus almost surely walked down these stairs.
The entrance into the Old City of Jerusalem at the Damascus Gate. This is likely where Jesus passed through carrying the beam of His cross.
The Garden Tomb near the Damascus Gate.
The tomb is empty!
You can’t help but be happy at the Garden Tomb.
Inside the tomb. Jesus’ body would have been placed here.
Matthew 28:6
My beautiful daughter Annie right outside the Garden of Gethsemane.
The Church of All Nations which is built around the table rock where Jesus agonized over His coming crucifixion.
