I'm hanging out at home right now watching VH1 Rock Honors. They are honoring Heart, Genesis, ZZ Top and the self-proclaimed Prince of Darkness - Ozzy Osbourne. I have enjoyed it for the most part - the Heart and ZZ Top stuff was cool. Nickelback was AWESOME in their tribute to ZZ Top! I couldn't care less for Genesis though. Sorry if that offends my guitar snob buddy "MV Dave." :)

But the Ozzy stuff really bothered me. One of my regrets (now that I'm 39) is that over the years - since I was about 12 years old - that I have given so much room in my mind and life to someone like Ozzy Osbourne. Ozzy is spiritually lost and either doesn't know it, doesn't care, or has some deal with the Devil and has just accepted that he is probably going to Hell.

Now listen to me... I still love my music hard and with an edge, but I just cannot accept this guy anymore or just pretend that he is a rebellious rocker and that all the satanic stuff is just for marketing. I think he is actively working for the dark side and against the Kingdom of God.

Anyway, I don't know why I feel so compelled to throw this out but I do. I guess it is because I'm really examining these days what I let into my iPod and DVD player. Well, for what it is worth...

BTW, when you constantly curse and use the F*@# word all the time, it is more of a sign of immaturity than anything else.

Anyway, just my rant for tonight.
