Stuff on My Mind...

• Today was a lot of fun at Rocky River. The crowds were back for both services and the money was over budget. Beyond that though there was a good spirit in the services today.
• The message was fun for me. I don’t know if it was any good or not but I just felt good teaching.
• The music was good too (except for the bass player. He stunk the place up!)
• Can hardly wait for staff meeting tomorrow. I have some exciting new ideas to drop on our staff. You’ll have to wait until later to hear them though…
• We need better meeting space. I have a couple things up my sleeve.
• I had hoped we would be under construction by now on our new building but obviously we’re not. I’ll say more later but for now just know that we’re heading in the right direction with our building program. We taking good steps.
• We’re still doing some work on the “new look” for my blogsite. It’ll be up pretty soon though.
• Our church took a fieldtrip this evening to see Evan Almighty. LOVED IT!
• Nelson, Kelly, and Alex Searcy are coming into town this weekend. Can’t wait to see those guys.
• I think people are digging our Simple series. I’m getting good feedback from it.
• Our student ministry (Project 252) had 14 first time decisions to follow Christ this past week! AWESOME!
• Our band is playing in the Harrisburg July 4th Battle of the Bands. I can’t wait man. We’re going to rock – BIGtime! I’m so glad Darrel is out of town so I get to play bass…! ☺
• Karen and I are excited about heading to Daytona Beach next week with the rest of our staff team and our students. We’re going to a Student Life camp there. It’s going to be a lot of fun and more…
• I’m watching Grease right now. Man that is a great movie!
• I think we’re going to go to the Harrisburg fireworks on Tuesday night – now Wednesday night. It is a nightmare around that place on the 4th.
• We’re going to do our own fireworks around here the night of the 4th.
• I grew up loving Kiss but Gene Simmons is really a jerk.
