Don't know if you've heard but the Jonas Brothers are getting a lot of heat because they are "Pro Jesus." I heard this on the news just this morning. Their dad is a pastor and so these guys were raised in a Christian home. They grew up in a Christian school. They travel with their whole family. They don't have raunchy lyrics in their songs. They have taken vows to not be sexually active until they're married (which will for sure be hard to keep in their business. There will be women throwing themselves at them now just to see if they can claim their virginity).

Wouldn't you think all of this would be worthy of celebration? Nope. Not in the media anyway. Not in the music industry. The Jonas Brothers are being roasted for their faith in Jesus and their pro-values stance. I heard one industry professional say this morning that she likes her rock "dirty." The media (and the godless people shaping our culture today) would make all our sons pimps and our little girls whores.

I'm going out today to buy my kids a Jonas Brother CD.

DISCLAIMER: I realize my last two posts are pretty political and I may be saying some harsh things. But I think the are true. And, this is my blog :). And I for one am tired of sitting back and just letting things like this go by.
