Would I really beat someone down if I caught them trying to break into my truck? (Someone emailed me asking...) YES! Being a Christian and a pastor doesn't mean I'm a wimp and that I should "let" someone take my stuff or threaten my family. I would even quote scripture while I beat them down (like, "Thou shalt not steal"). I can love a criminal in Jesus' name and still whip his butt for taking my stuff.

Here's what really ticks me off. It's not really about the stuff (again, there was nothing to be taken in the truck). Annie woke Karen up this morning because she thought she heard something break. They decided that something fell. But that was probably the person knocking out my window. It ticks me off that someone was roaming around in my yard and looking through our vehicles. What's next? Are they going to start looking in windows - my daughter's window? Oh yeah, you let me catch that person and they will beg me to call the cops to save them from me.

That's the way I roll. No wimpy pastor living here. Don't judge me - and don't tread on me either.

BTW, the little :) at the end of the original post was not me kidding around. It was to say, I'm still smiling.
